They not only handled the routine servicing perfectly but also diagnosed and repaired issues that multiple other mechanics had missed or were unable to fix. Joe at Midas Melrose Park is the best mechanic/serviceperson I have been to, and I will continue to bring my cars here. His service is honest, transparent and detailed. As someone who doesn't know much about cars besides the basics, he is able to explain the issues I've encountered in clear, understandable terms. He is upfront about what repairs were needed and gave me options. Joe isn't there to try and rip you off for unnecessary money like some places are, and this is why I trust him. With my most recent issue (mechanical breakdown) Joe was willing to go the extra mile by working afterhours to diagnose the issue, and then able to get it fixed the next day - leaving me without my car for only 2 days when they were fully booked already. Outstanding service in a professional, friendly manner; and for that Joe will continue to get my service

Joe & the team did a great job getting my car back up to scratch. Took it in with a lot of issues that I already knew about but after a thorough inspection in the their workshop found a few more problems that I was unaware of. Being an older car meant spare parts are becoming obsolete but Joe did a great job of tracking a lot of these hard to find parts down & kept me well informed along the way. The boys in the workshop did a great job on the mechanical side, sorting all the issues & getting it done very promptly. The car now feels like a completely different car to drive, I’m very happy with it. Thanks again to the team at Midas Melrose Park.

Any time I get my car serviced at a new location, my biggest concern is that given my minimal knowledge and expertise regarding cars that I will be ripped off or have unnecessary work done so that I fork out more money. I can thankfully say that the guys at Midas Melrose park have consistently done an exceptional job and have made me feel comfortable and trusting in the work that they need to do.Every time I get my or my wife's car serviced here I get a complete run down of the work that they believe needs to be done and the justification for why its necessary. This also includes when they find things that might be on the up and coming for work but not yet essential and they have the respect to tell me when these things are essential and give me the choice as to which work I want done on the car that service.Joe in particular does a great job of making me feel confident that the work done was necessary and done to a high standard. I've never once felt talked down to or had things explained like I'm stupid which I can't say is true for other service shops.So long as I don't move far away I will continue to get my car serviced here as the team are fantastic!

Joe and the team are the best!Had an issue with a family members vehicle and had a discussion with Joe about the starting issue. We both came to a theory it may be related a bad fuel filter. Sure enough, the fuel filter was removed and found that a distorted o’ring was the culprit (was installed previously elsewhere). Was replaced in the morning, had a phone call from Joe to say the vehicle was ready for collection by lunch time. On collection, Joe showed us the distorted o’ring from the fuel filter assembly. Now the new fuel filter assembly has been fitted, there has been no starting issues whatsoever.Highly recommend Joe and his team at Midas Melrose Park and I have worked in the industry for 15 years myself, so that says something.Well done! Thanks again Joe and team. Will be sending friends and family your way when they ask me where to take their vehicle for repairs or servicing.

Writing this review with a happy smile on my face still. My car is ancient and felt like one while driving. I toured several garages that were fixated on the catalytic converter (hard and expensive to find) but the real noise trouble was lurking in the back wheels. Luckily, I found this place, where they diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time. The team was very helpful and experienced, and the communication was excellent. It's like they have a sixth sense for car troubles! Five stars for not only making my car quiet but also proving it's not all about what's up front (literally in my case haha). Now it’s still ancient but driving like new. This place is definitely my go-to garage from now on.
