Usually I prefer to work on my own car, but this time didn't have the specific knowledge - Was super hesitant at first due to hearing stories of many bad mechanics out there.Have to say, this was the best service I could expect - super friendly, very helpful, told me what was needed and didn't push anything extra. My partner's family have all been coming here for years and all have had the same experience, can't recommend enough!

Great experience with these guys. Ford told me I needed a completely new engine and quoted $5k to sort it. Came to these guys and they sorted the issue with my engine for $200! Also got a service done with them and they did a great job.

Reviewing as a backpacker : I went there to service my car in the city. It's a bit hard to find a reliable mechanic when you're traveling but those guys are trustworthy and talented. The team was good and fit me in just a day before the service. The price was honest (low price or average low for Melbourne) and the mechanics are reliable. I know my car and they did not try to charge me for unnecessary parts. Moreover they service it quickly (just a few hours) and I did not have to wait the whole day to have it back, it was pleasant.I recommend it to anyone of my backpacker mates who are looking for a reliable place for a service. Good mechanic !

The best repair shop ever. They never let me down. Their customer service is the best. They never disappointed me and always did a great job. I never had a problem with their work. I absolutely recommend it to you guys. Michael is also one of the most caring mechanics I've ever seen. Many mechanics just don't care; they want to just do it and get the money. But Michael always cares about his work, which is a relief, so I always know the car will be taken care of properly.

I brought my car in as it was making a horrible noise that i had expected to be quite expensive to fix. Jimmy and his team tended to my car immediately and found out it was a piece of plastic that was out of place. They fixed it for me and within 20 minutes I got a call to come and pick it up. I was not charged for anything! Thank you to Jimmy and the Midas team for your kindness and honesty.
